How can we help?

Pickup & Delivery

At what time will the truck collect my LTL/FTL shipment?

Collections occur on the scheduled business day between 9 am and 6 pm depending on the courier’s availability and on the availability of the service provider. The pick-up and delivery addresses need to have a loading dock available and a manual fork-lift.

If you need a specific time frame for the pick-up, place an individual offer to receive the correct pricing. Any request for a specific time frame written in the comment section may not be taken into account and may result in delays in pick-up and/or additional costs.

Can I book an LTL/FTL service with collection in a remote area?

If you require an LTL or FTL service with pick-up or delivery is in a remote or rural area or on an island, we advise contacting Eurosender Sales Support at sales@eurosender.com before placing an order online. The Sales Support agents will be able to advise you about the type of service you can select to make sure the service is possible on your selected route.

Does the truck driver call before delivery?

There is no guarantee that the transport company will call before the delivery. The shipper/recipient may be contacted the day before the planned delivery to confirm that someone will be at the delivery address to accept the shipment.

In the phone call, you will be given a time frame for the delivery and you can also ask for additional information (the name of the driver and the registration plates of the vehicle used for the delivery). We cannot guarantee thatg you will receive the phone number of the driver himself.

For any concerns about the delivery, you can call back the number of the transport agent or our Customer Support team directly. The driver may call you when he is close to your delivery address.

How long does LTL/FTL shipping take?

You will be informed about the estimated transit time of the shipment while booking the service. Transit times are calculated in business days. The estimations cannot be guaranteed due to delays caused by heavy traffic, weather conditions or border controls.

Will I get a tracking number when booking an LTL or FTL shipment?

When booking the shared tor full truck service, you may not receive the tracking code but instead an estimated delivery time for the shipment after the pick-up.

Will the truck driver call me before the collection?

There is no guarantee that the transport company will call in advance. If they decide to do so, they may contact the sender at the pick-up address either the day before or on the morning of the pick-up to confirm the schedule. The transport company will give you a time frame for the pick-up over the phone.

If you need any other details about the driver, you can ask for the name of the driver and the registration plates of the vehicle that will be used for the pick-up in the phone call with the transport company. We cannot guarantee though that they will share this information.

The phone number of the contact person in the pick-up and delivery countries must be a local phone number. If the phone numbers are not local, the pick-up and/or delivery may be postponed until a local phone number has been provided.

Will the truck driver help me load or unload the shipment?

The truck driver may help you load and unload the cargo in the vehicle, but only with equipment provided at the pick-up and delivery address. The drivers are not obligated to load the shipment manually.

If you are booking an LTL or FTL service, you must ensure sufficient loading space at the pick-up and delivery addresses for the truck to fit into a loading dock. Additionally, there needs to be a manual forklift available at the pick-up and delivery addresses as vehicles usually do not carry additional loading equipment but only the loading ramp (tail-lift).
